Online Application Documents
For customers that have applied online for a Halifax International account there are certain documents that you must sign and/or complete to get your account opened. These documents are detailed below.

Online Application Declaration form
Applications in a sole name please print this Declaration form and retain for your own personal records
Applications on a joint basis please print this declaration form and arrange for all the parties to the account to sign, where indicated, and return to the bank with other supporting documents.
Identity and Address Verification
You also need to provide certain verification documents.
These verification documents need to be certified by an appropriate person. Please refer to the section 'Who can certify a document?' in the attachment including, the second page on How to certify.
This document is a guide to providing the following:
- All parties to the account need to provide a certified copy of their passport.
- All parties to the account need to provide verification/certified verification of their residential address.
Standing order form
If you have applied to open a Halifax international Regular Saver account the monthly credits must be funded by a standing order. This mandate must be completed.

If you are Exempt from the European Union Savings Tax please complete the attached Exemption form.
Internal funds transfer request form
If you wish to transfer the opening deposit for your new account from an existing Halifax International account you will need to complete this form.
